1969 Yamaha YM1 Restoration Project Background

Little 2-stroke twin brought in from Grand Rapids, Michigan. The bike hadn't run in quite a long time and needed the usual treatment. Tank, carbs, tires, etc. Also had a hard-to-diagnosis carb issue that sounded more like a bottom end bearing or ring issue. The original paint was cleaned and polished, engine pulled and painted/polished, wheels polished, various other parts polished or painted. She's ready to smoke some more!
